Conceptual Video: Stones

Each stone marks a significant spot in human history

Brief:

This is a team project, producing a 1-minute video on a chosen theme to focus on. Our team chose the theme of stones. This project went through various interactions on the significance of stone and how to convey this idea, from the commonality of stones yet so important as a material for basic building blocks of buildings to the cultural significance of stones used in memorials in which the stone embodies the collective memory of a significant event. In the final iteration, the stone embodies the cultural and historical significance of the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne.
