Brief:

This project is a virtual environment designed to curate a virtual exhibition showcasing some of my works and developments of research-based practice and practice-based research regarding the use of audiovisual and its transformative properties used in design to evoke resonance that focuses on designing for user's emotions. The project utilises Blender, Unity, and Spacial.io to curate this exhibition.

The exhibition combines uses lighting, textures and environment planning to construct a virtual environment that feels thematically coherent to the curated works and creates an immersive experience, using lighting to guide the viewer within the building which provides a clear layout that displays the chronological development process of the curated works and research. 

The building also changes in appearance throughout each level to utilise the environment lighting within the game engine and to provide a new aesthetic experience throughout each level of the building that also utilises the environment planning to create intriguing and aesthetically pleasing scenery that engages the player. Overall, creating a thematically coherent experience that unifies the experience of viewing the work and navigating the exhibition.
